Julian Blum

Drawing from a diverse real estate background, Mr. Blum is a specialist in renovating and repositioning mismanaged commercial real estate. He has invested in over 30 projects since 1998. Most recently, his focus has been lender owned multi-family communities. A 626 unit multi-family project in Houston, TX is the most recent acquisition.
Previously, Mr. Blum spent 16 years in commercial mortgage banking, primarily with LJ Melody & Company, the finance arm of CB Richard Ellis. Additionally, 5 years were spent with Halliday Fenoglio & Fowler, LP. During those years, he completed over 200 commercial real estate debt and/or equity placements. This past experience with deal structuring became the foundation for his later involvement in redevelopment.
Mr. Blum has a bachelor of science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas, spending several years in construction before earning his MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
